Welcome to Language school
Our school of language, established in 1977, is a branch of the established language schools UK group, with centres in Warwick and Newcastle as well as London.
English language courses
The school is recognised by the British Council. We provide a range of English language courses to meet the demands of students at all levels. We provide examination prep courses. There are intensive courses which last all week as well as vacation courses during the summer.
King's London provides first-class homestay accommodation at decent rates, mostly based within walking distance of the school. Homestay gives our students a chance to experience the life of an English family and the opportunity to practise their language skills away from the school.
We have busy and popular recreational and leisure schemes all year round and frequent trips to a variety of different destinations. The experience is a distinct combination of learning and living in England.
Improve your English
Let our employees look after all parts of your stay and make your time in England fun and rewarding. Come to our school to improve your English, socialise with other students from around the globe and have an excellent time!
Our principal, Jack Osborne, is in charge of the day-to-day running of the school. He has at least twenty years' experience of working in language travel occupations.
Plenty of facilities
The language school comprises three impressive nineteenth-century buildings containing over twenty spacious cafeteria classrooms, many with television and video/DVD facilities. We also have a splendid garden. We also have a computer centre with free broadband, wireless web connection for pupils with their personal laptops, and a school intranet.
We have a really popular cafeteria which provides hot and cold food, freshly made salads, great fruit and a variety of drinks.
Our student counsellor is always happy to advise pupils on further possibilities of education within the UK. Help with applications to universities is also available.
Most pupils live in homestay properties selected by our friendly staff. The typical journey time from home to school is quarter to half an hour by foot but great bus services are also available. Longer stay students can also use a student Travelcard, which offers reduced fares on coaches and trams.
Students are welcome to stay in school outside of normal lesson time. If you wish to study more in your free time you are welcome to use our self-study rooms. There are internet facilities which are free of charge, a digital language office, and PC-activated language educative schemes. The self-study centre is available for use during school hours.
